Brisbane access point

Alright im fairly new to this, but i say, what use is wireless without an access point?
yes we can all run our own access points, but are limited by line of sight.
So i have been thinking about setting up a brisbane access point.
Now this is going to be a fairly costly adventure for me if i do decide to go through with it, i plan to get some powerful equipment to give greater range.

The location is perfect. Direct line of sight for as far as the eye can see, and covers the brisbane city as well.

I may be able to "borrow" some space upon the Channel 9 tower. Only problems are signal interference. Line of sight should easily be achieved.
If i cannot borrow some space i am willing to pay a little for some.
I want to put up there the most powerful antenna i can get my hands on. I plan to firstly support 50 users, than as things grow upgrade.
This is perfect for businesses too who want to give there workers access to files at home.
There are a few hertals to over come in this idea, but once i can get a spot on the tower the rest should be easy.
Everyone in brisbane (well most people) should be able to connect to me, if you are in range.

I just hope i can get together the money, and support to do this. nothings worse than spending $4000 on equipment and then no one using it!

ok first of all my and a mate has disscussed the very same idea we want a network to take over brisbane with...the network will be abled to have p2p sharing chat a forum even a browser
the lan will also be hooked up to a main server"access point" which if the user has paid can dial it up and acess the internet. we will need an endorsor/sponser
if goes according to plan then there will be alot of people able to game,share files,and info
we have someone able to make the programs e.t.c all we need is an endorser and buyers what do u think?
